23/9/08 the google docs database has gone, it has been replaced by this wiki. This is a list of all the VFX, Games and Archvis companies in Australia and New Zealand that the members of the DLF could come up with. Feel free to edit as you see fit. Google docs was just too big a PITA. You might want to check out this little fellow. My son Oskar drew the picture and I animated it, as a test of an IK bone system that I was hacking together in After Effects. I've also acquired a site supporter! Fotosearch Stock Video. Feel free to get in touch if you want to support this site. 23/9/08 After a discussion on the DLF, I started this google docs database. It contains links to VFX, Games and Archvis companies in Australia and New Zealand. You can view it without needing to be logged in, or you can edit it if you sign in (you might need an invite, I don't know why). 21/6/08 I installed PicLens today, and just had to find a way to browse local folders with it. So on the longest night of the year, instead of catching up on sleep I hacked together PycLens. It's a python script that will scan your local folders for images and then create a web page that will let you view them all with Piclens. You need python to use it. 12/5/08 of course my phone turned up, because I bought a new one. But I can still be contacted on the same number, in fact both numbers will work for a bit. Anyone want to buy a phone? 7/5/08 My contact details have changed. If you want to ring my mobile there's a new number (now my old phone is bound to turn up somewhere completely hatstand, courtesy of my 18 month old daughter). There have been a couple of minor bug fixes over the last month or so, I'll probably do a proper revision of the plugins sometime in the coming months so stay tuned. |
